      <description>&lt;P&gt;Hi&lt;/P&gt;&lt;P&gt;you can do a restart to the storage controller from management console&lt;/P&gt;&lt;P&gt;Regards&lt;/P&gt;&lt;P&gt;Give a KUDO if this helps&lt;/P&gt;</description>

      <description>&lt;P&gt;MSA 2052 doesnt have an option to do a manual failover with both controllers up.&lt;/P&gt;&lt;P&gt;You could shut down one of the controllers so that the second controller takes ownership of all volumes and disk groups.&lt;/P&gt;&lt;P&gt;Restart of one of the controllers will also simulate a failover till the controller boots back up.&lt;/P&gt;&lt;P&gt;In the System topic, select Action &amp;gt; Restart System.&lt;BR /&gt;The Controller Restart and Shut Down panel opens.&lt;/P&gt;&lt;P&gt;You need to either shut down or restart Storage controller A/B from the options listed.&lt;/P&gt;&lt;P&gt;&amp;nbsp;&lt;/P&gt;&lt;P&gt;Refer pages 78 and 79 of SMU guide:&lt;/P&gt;&lt;P&gt;&lt;A href="https://support.hpe.com/hpsc/doc/public/display?docId=a00017707en_us" target="_blank"&gt;https://support.hpe.com/hpsc/doc/public/display?docId=a00017707en_us&lt;/A&gt;&lt;/P&gt;&lt;P&gt;&amp;nbsp;&lt;/P&gt;</description>
