I have problem to configure email notification on two HPE MSA 1050 storage system.

In our corporate we have an internal email server and I put all setup parameters on msa but test mail fail and I dont find any 611 error code in log that system popup suggest.

I also tried to configure an external smtp server but obtained same error.

for every smtp server I tried every security protocol but nothing. doesnt work.

Can anyone help me in order to resolve this issue?

by default mail servers will not forward SMTP mail you need

to give permission for source IP of MSA in mail server to

enable SMTP forwareding

have you done that?

Hi giladzzz, thanks for reply but its sound like only unauthenticated traffic over port 25 is permit?
