Hi
I have a spare SAN Switch 2/8 El that hasn't been used for a little while and forgot what the IP address is. I'm trying to connect to it using Hyperterm as per the config in the 2/8EL manual but my hyperterm comes blank..
Any suggestions ?
Is there any other ways to reset the IP to the default one if you can connect to it.

Thanks.
Yes, I was using the cable that came with the switch. It's sort of like a flat greyish cable with rj12 on each end and also the converter to the serial port. Do you think the cable is faulty ?
