    <description>&lt;P&gt;Hi,&lt;/P&gt;&lt;P&gt;Incase vdisk went into offline state after dequrantine then&amp;nbsp;&lt;/P&gt;&lt;P&gt;you can try the below commands,&lt;/P&gt;&lt;P&gt;&lt;SPAN&gt;#trust enable&lt;/SPAN&gt;&lt;/P&gt;&lt;P&gt;&lt;SPAN&gt;#trust vdisk vd01&lt;/SPAN&gt;&lt;/P&gt;&lt;P&gt;&lt;SPAN&gt;# show vdisks&lt;/SPAN&gt;&lt;/P&gt;&lt;P&gt;&lt;STRONG&gt;Note:&amp;nbsp; We would strongly recommend you to get the log verified with any MSA expert before running trust command,&lt;/STRONG&gt;&lt;/P&gt;&lt;P&gt;&lt;STRONG&gt;&amp;nbsp; &amp;nbsp; &amp;nbsp; &amp;nbsp; &amp;nbsp; &amp;nbsp;if one or more drives are having issue then it may not work.&lt;/STRONG&gt;&lt;/P&gt;&lt;P&gt;Regards,&lt;/P&gt;&lt;P&gt;Sudhir&lt;/P&gt;</description>

      <title>MSA P2000 Vdisks in quarantine after failed controller replacement</title>

      <description>&lt;P&gt;Hello.&lt;/P&gt;&lt;P&gt;we tried to replace a faulty controller A&amp;nbsp; and it tried to update the firmware&amp;nbsp;&lt;/P&gt;&lt;P&gt;and it brought it to unitialize, restarted with both controller it said that it update the firmware successfully&amp;nbsp;&lt;/P&gt;&lt;P&gt;but in the events after the restart it gave a msg. it failed still in unitialize state (couldnt see the Vdisks as well).&lt;BR /&gt;we shutdown the MSA P2000 and just booted it up with controller B.&lt;BR /&gt;&lt;BR /&gt;&lt;BR /&gt;&lt;/P&gt;&lt;P&gt;the 2 Vdisks are in&amp;nbsp;QTOF&amp;nbsp; state&amp;nbsp; and from the show vdisks command i get this error :&lt;/P&gt;&lt;P&gt;Look for events in the event log related to quarantine (172 or 485) and follow the recommended actions for those events.&lt;/P&gt;&lt;P&gt;under health&amp;nbsp;Fault&lt;/P&gt;&lt;P&gt;reason health&amp;nbsp; quarantined.&lt;/P&gt;&lt;P&gt;does anybody have the process how to de-quarantine the vdisks and bring them back online ?&lt;BR /&gt;&lt;BR /&gt;thank you in advance.&lt;BR /&gt;&lt;BR /&gt;&lt;/P&gt;</description>

      <description>&lt;P&gt;Hi &lt;a href="https://community.hpe.com/t5/user/viewprofilepage/user-id/2018386"&gt;@Luke_Y&lt;/a&gt;&amp;nbsp;,&lt;/P&gt;&lt;P&gt;You can dequarantine vdisk from SMU GUI/CLI as below:&amp;nbsp;&lt;/P&gt;&lt;P&gt;From SMU, in the Configuration View panel, right-click a quarantined vdisk and select Tools &amp;gt; Dequarantine Vdisk,&lt;BR /&gt;or&lt;/P&gt;&lt;P&gt;SSH controller IP/take serial console and run following command on CLI prompt:&lt;/P&gt;&lt;P&gt;# dequarantine vdisk "Vdisk name"&amp;nbsp; &amp;nbsp; &amp;nbsp; &amp;nbsp;&amp;gt;&amp;gt;&amp;gt;&amp;gt;Enter vdisk name without quotes&lt;/P&gt;&lt;P&gt;&amp;nbsp;&lt;/P&gt;&lt;P&gt;If you feel this was helpful please click the KUDOS! thumb below!&lt;/P&gt;&lt;P&gt;Regards,&lt;/P&gt;&lt;P&gt;Sudhir&lt;/P&gt;</description>
