      <description>You need to explicitly configure the boot device in the SRM console.&lt;BR /&gt;&lt;BR /&gt;First, prevent automatic boot after INITIALIZE:&lt;BR /&gt;&lt;BR /&gt;&amp;gt;&amp;gt;&amp;gt; set auto_action halt&lt;BR /&gt;&amp;gt;&amp;gt;&amp;gt; initialize&lt;BR /&gt;&lt;BR /&gt;&amp;gt;&amp;gt;&amp;gt; wwidmgr -clear all&lt;BR /&gt;&amp;gt;&amp;gt;&amp;gt; wwidmgr -show wwid -full&lt;BR /&gt;(check that all paths are available)&lt;BR /&gt;&lt;BR /&gt;&amp;gt;&amp;gt;&amp;gt; wwidmgr -quickset -udid 1&lt;BR /&gt;&lt;BR /&gt;&amp;gt;&amp;gt;&amp;gt; initialize&lt;BR /&gt;&lt;BR /&gt;&amp;gt;&amp;gt;&amp;gt; show device&lt;BR /&gt;(you will have multiple paths...&lt;BR /&gt;&amp;gt;&amp;gt;&amp;gt; set bootdef_dev dga1.?,dga1.?,dgb1.?&lt;BR /&gt;&lt;BR /&gt;(sometime this can be optimized:&lt;BR /&gt;&amp;gt;&amp;gt;&amp;gt; set bootdef_dev dga1.*,dgb1.*&lt;BR /&gt;&lt;BR /&gt;(set the original value for "auto_action"&lt;BR /&gt;&lt;BR /&gt;&amp;gt;&amp;gt;&amp;gt; set auto_action ...&lt;BR /&gt;&lt;BR /&gt;&amp;gt;&amp;gt;&amp;gt; boot&lt;BR /&gt;&lt;BR /&gt;Depending on your configuration and on which controller the unit is currently active, you might see one or more "not connected" paths - don't worry, that's ok.</description>
