The boot root and the boot flags are separated by a comma (,).

you are missing the point.

the problem is with memory Intlv.

with one way memory intlv the system is booting okay.

with two or more memory intlv the system is crashing.

I would agree with Uwe. You should correct the known problems before going any further. There is a clear error statement about the bootflags. Heck, maybe the error you're seeing later is a side-effect...

the es40 is booting fine with 1gb of memory
where there is no interleve taking place.
however with 2gb which interleve is 1 the system is not booting.

I had the same problem
I had env. variable memory_test partial
After I set it back to "Full" system booted OK!
