&lt;P dir="auto" style="margin: 0;"&gt;I believe the only option would be to perform a power cycle of controller enclosure if both controllers are not responding to commands.&lt;/P&gt;
&lt;P dir="auto" style="margin: 0;"&gt;1. Did the issue start after an unexpected power loss to the array? Controller needs to be shut down before we remove power to array in normal scenarios.&lt;BR /&gt;2. Is the MSA volumes accessible by host servers to which volumes are mapped?&lt;/P&gt;
&lt;P dir="auto" style="margin: 0;"&gt;Its possible that the 2 disks with amber LED might have moved to&amp;nbsp;left over state after abrupt power loss.&lt;/P&gt;&lt;/BODY&gt;&lt;/HTML&gt;</description>

      <description>&lt;P&gt;Hi all&amp;nbsp;&lt;/P&gt;&lt;P&gt;we have many HPE devices , one of them is an old storage " 1040 MSA " for backup data .&amp;nbsp;&lt;/P&gt;&lt;P&gt;today suddenly restarted , and now its showning :&amp;nbsp;&lt;/P&gt;&lt;DIV&gt;&lt;SPAN class=""&gt;&lt;STRONG&gt;Initializing, please wait...&lt;/STRONG&gt;&lt;/SPAN&gt;&lt;/DIV&gt;&lt;DIV&gt;&amp;nbsp;&lt;/DIV&gt;&lt;DIV&gt;&lt;SPAN class=""&gt;and when i try ssh to restart controller or any other command : Error: The MC is not ready. Wait a few seconds then retry the request.&lt;/SPAN&gt;&lt;/DIV&gt;&lt;DIV&gt;&amp;nbsp;&lt;/DIV&gt;&lt;DIV&gt;&lt;SPAN class=""&gt;one more thing , i noticed two disk shows orange light. its out of support that why am asking here . that&amp;nbsp;&lt;/SPAN&gt;&lt;/DIV&gt;&lt;DIV&gt;&lt;SPAN class=""&gt;thank you in advanced &lt;/SPAN&gt;&lt;/DIV&gt;</description>
