Indeed, but it looks as though the active/active firmware for the MSA1500cs has been released as well.

This looks like a big step forward for the MSA1500, but obviously it's a bit of work to upgrade all existing hosts to the MPIO FF DSM AND flash the MSA as well.

Has anyone tried it so far?

I was told today that MPIO doesn't work on 64 bit windows. I just began building a system that consists of 2 dl385's clustered and connected to a msa1000 high availabilty SAN. Does anyone have an approximate release date for the new MPIO version and possibly any beta test information.

Hi,
The only way to do it right now is to use Secure Path. I haven't seen any roadmap where Mpio i said to be supported on x64 and msa1000.

/johan

Any ideas what sort of time scale we're looking at?

I'm looking to add a DL580 G3 with 7040 processors and Win2K3 x64 (E64T) to an existing SAN infrastructure based on an MSA1500. Everything else is in place, we just need an MPIO DSM for x64 & MSA.

Can't be too far off surely, as there's already one for the EVA?
It now looks as though the EM64T full featured MPIO for MSA has been released. Is anyone using it yet?
