How do i add or extend space on to a existing lun

I see the following on the left side of StorageWorks Command View EVA

I see the following
EVA Storage Network->IHSEVA01->Virtual Disks->DB-Data
under this is see
bopt_db1
bopt_db2
both shows active and each has 25Gig,
now i need to add an additional 25 Gig to DB_DATA or need to increase bopt_db1 to 50gig from 25 gig .

Please let me know the best way i can do that.
Select the disk on the left, then increase the capacity under capacity req to what you need it be, so if you had 25gb, and need 50 gb, enter 50 . Under windows you will have a to get the new space added to the partition already there. As always be sure to backup before you make changes.

If you have a Windows 2003 server or cluster , follow this article:
http://support.microsoft.com/kb/304736/EN-US/

Sounds like a Red Hat EL support question. You may have better luck with the Red Hat Knowledgebase: http://kbase.redhat.com/faq/

A quick search for "volume" and "expansion" gives several results. It looks like it depends on which file system you are using, and if you are using the Linux LVM.
