    <description>The two "configshow"s indicate both are using PID format 1.&lt;BR /&gt;&lt;BR /&gt;I see "broc_3800_2" has fabric.ops.mode.longDistance: 0, while "broc_2800" has fabric.ops.mode.longDistance: 1.&lt;BR /&gt;&lt;BR /&gt;Also, is any zoning configured on "broc_2800"? I thought the "switchshow" would have shown no zoning configuration in effect. If it is zoned, and the two switches' configurations do not match, that would also cause a segmented error.</description>

      <description>Hi Mike,&lt;BR /&gt;&lt;BR /&gt;Send the output of the command "fabstatsshow". That will give you a clue as to why the fabrics won't join. &lt;BR /&gt;&lt;BR /&gt;Since these are older switches, my first guess would be the PID formats are incompatible.
