<title>topic StorageWorks Edge Switch question in MSA Storage</title>
    <link>https://community.hpe.com/t5/msa-storage/storageworks-edge-switch-question/m-p/763014#M2965</link>
<description>I am preparing to purchase a 2/12 Edgeswitch as a redundant to my 24 port. I see that "flexport technology" means the unit has only 4 ports enabled. I also see a feature called full-fabric capability, which would enable the the G_Port technology, as I use in my current switch. I did not configure the current switch and am left wondering if I need G_Ports or can I use the default F_Ports. Can someone assist? Thx</description>
