Hi,

did you have found the solution because i have the same problem on different platforms, aka 2000/2003 with Qlogic or Emulex,

and every installation failed with a java error.

Regards

Jean-Pierre

RSM SNIA lib question

In the installing manual we read:

Before installing the host agent software on a Windows host, you must:
..
...
..
Install the appropriate SNIA libraries for Windows. Go to the Fibre
Adapters section on the following web site and download the software
http://h18006.www1.hp.com/storage/saninfrastructure.com.

But the problem is - wrong URL. So where could we get SNIA libaries?

Thanks in advance.

May be my answer was unclear...

We have 2 x EVA 4000 + BC license + CA license + Storage Server for managing EVAs.
As we understood RSM 2.1 won't install if JRE version differs from v.1.4. When RSM and host agent are installed on storage server we are unable to connect RSM to the Storage server Host. In the RSM installation manual we read:

Before installing the host agent software on a Windows host, you must:
..
...
..
Install the appropriate SNIA libraries for Windows. Go to the Fibre
Adapters section on the following web site and download the software
http://h18006.www1.hp.com/storage/saninfrastructure.com.

But the URL http://h18006.www1.hp.com/storage/saninfrastructure.com. - is wrong
and we are unable to find SNIA libaries at the hp site at all.
May the problem is in the absense of SNIA libraries ?
I have been trying for a long time and came to conclusion that the problem is not in SNIA libraries, but RSM authentication. After all I was able to start jobs see EVA configuration but with errors and an unpredictable results, so I use Command View right now without any regrets.

PS. Java - must die... :)
