Hi,

How can you delete 'old' entries in de Selective Storage Presentation in the MSA1000 Controller. When i remove old SAN-hosts they are still in this list. How do you clear that?

Regards
Eric
The only way I have found is to reboot the MSA itself. I believe this has been fixed in one of the latest MSA firmware versions. Check the Firmware Readme notes for the versions your running or interested in.

Hi
I think that it's possible from the CLI accessible on the front of the controller (via serial).
The command is maybe "delete connection ..."

regards
Armando
Good point, Yes, using the cli cmds can remove connections but you will also have to delete the other components like host and luns (if not being used by other hosts) as well. This can also be accomplished in the SSP interface by unchecking the luns from the host WWNs, deleting the host names and setting it to Default and SAVING that.
