You said,"I would like to know which Redhat device file will refer to the LUNs created on the MSA 1000."
Basically, you should be using Select Storage Presentation (ssp) to assign luns to hosts. If you don't use SSP all the luns would be available to all hosts.
You arn't trying to use GFS are you? Or to present the same lun to multiple hosts?
Additionally, you should be using Switch zoning to segment the devices from each other to prevent scsi resets of one device from causing other devices to reset.
You should look for the HP SAN Design document in the MSA section.

Hello

I have to install Redhat enterprise Linux 4 on twoHp DL580 server. I will also be using two MSA 1000. and two fiber channel switches to interconnect the HBAs and the MSAs
I would like to know which Redhat device file will refer to the LUNs created on the MSA 1000.

Thank you
