we have just installed MPIO for EVA5000 VCS code 3.XXX

we also installed the manger (for full feature) but we are unable to see the LUNS in the manager.

so iam taking it that the manger will not work with this basic version?

For the EVA GL (3000 & 5000) running VCS code 3.x you must use SecurePath for your Windows servers. If MPIO is a requirement, you must be running VCS 4.x.

Right, Slim Dude, the basic MPIO does work with VCS V3.x, but there is no management interface. It does put some strings into the Windows event log - maybe this helps a bit.

The management interface does indeed require the full-featured MPIO for EVA3000/5000 running VCS V4.

For the EVA GL (3000 & 5000) running VCS code 3.x, SecurePath for your Windows servers has management tools built in to manage and observe.
MPIO Basic, no management.
