topic Fibre Optic. in MSA Storage

I have an MSA 1000 and 2/16B switch.
I have a mixture of 50/125 and 62.5/125 fibre cables.
From what I have researched I can run either cables as I am only talking 5 meters and the switches are auto sensing.
Can i mix and match both these different size cables?

Regards

> the switches are auto sensing.

The switches do not sense the core diameter. What they do is a speed *negotiation* with the end-node. If a cable's quality is too bad, the speed *will not* be turned down automatically.

Last time I checked, mixing different core diameters between two end-points is not supported. You should be fine with only one cable, though.
