    <description>Hey&lt;BR /&gt;&lt;BR /&gt;As far as i know there is no way to shut it down properly. If you have any disks mapped on the system you should either dismount them or turn off the systems. After that you just should use the powerbutton on the MSA1000 shelf and if you have more shelves then you probably just have to unplug the powercords on them.&lt;BR /&gt;</description>

      <description>Is there a way to shutdown the msa 1000 gracefully from the CLI?  If so what are the commands?  If not how should one power down the MSA 1000?</description>

      <description>Hi,&lt;BR /&gt;&lt;BR /&gt;Unmount all the file systems,&lt;BR /&gt;from the cli issue the command,&lt;BR /&gt;&lt;BR /&gt;shutdown other&lt;BR /&gt;shutdown this&lt;BR /&gt;&lt;BR /&gt;then trip the switch at the back of the rack.
