Hi,

Im get a new MSA 1000 storage with two sanswitch 2/8.

I try to use the serial connection to setting up and, but I can not log in to switch.

I try the factory default login (user , PASSWORD) but it don't work. How can I log in to switch or restore the factory default login setting.

Hi,
Make sure you type it all in lower case.

user = admin
password = password

As for resetting to default passwords I believe that involves a call to Brocade and a rather expensive service call.

You should not set a Brocade switch to 'factory defaults' as this overwrites the HP specific settings that were made before the switch was delivered to you.
