Hi,
I have MSA1500cs. Time to time a MS MOM send a error:

Source: Storage Agents
Name: Storage System Fan degraded.
Description: Storage System Fan Module Status Change. Storage system "xxx" fan module at location 3 has a new status of 5.
(Fan module status values: 1=other, 2=notInstalled, 3=ok, 4=degraded, 5=failed)

But all fan modules work properly (visually).
You ideas?
I replaced a fan recently with a similar problem. The fan was working fine, but apparently it was not transferring the appropriate info to the system.

Second question.
"fan module at location 3".

Where is a fan module "at location 3"? It is the right or left module if to look behind? (See on picture).

Fans work fine but the controllers were flagging old errors.

I had fan errors cleared out from the controller and had a code upgrade done. It has been working fine since then.
