MSA 1510i Second Controller - load balancing possible?

Considering adding a second controller for redundancy protection. Can I use both simultaneously for load balancing? I suppose I'll need another 1GB connection to accomplish that?

You can add a second controller for simple failover (active/passive) protection. The active/active software update was pulled back some time ago, because it turned some MSA1510i into inactive/inactive ones :-(
I've not heard that a new update was made available.

Thanks. I guess I won't worry about it. Do you get the impression that HP support doesn't know enough about the MSA 1510i?
