    <description>I think you'll need to provide a bit more information.  &lt;BR /&gt;&lt;BR /&gt;I don't know the Scalar50... and I have no idea what problem you're having connecting it.  What interface does the library have?  Is it a physical connection problem?  Is it not being seen by the switch?  By the server?  Does the library show a connection to the switch?  &lt;BR /&gt;&lt;BR /&gt;I'll encourage you to look at the Entereprise Backup Solutions Compatibility Matrix at &lt;A href="http://www.hp.com/go/ebs" target="_blank" rel="nofollow"&gt;http://www.hp.com/go/ebs&lt;/A&gt; -- it's a very detailed 44-page matrix of every supported combination of tape drive/library, operating system, HBA, switch, firmware, OS patch levels, ... so that when you buy supported solutions, you'll know they will work.  It's one of the important HP value add features.</description>
