We are building a small SAN in our office. We have an MSA2312fc Dual with controllers. We have that connected to 2 Brocade 300 fiber switches. We also have 2 Proliant DL380G6 Servers with HP 81B PCIe 8GB FC HBAs. We installed VMWare ESXi 4.1 on the servers. We can't see the HBAs in VMWare. We checked with VMWare and they are supported. Any ideas? The BIOS of the machines and the firmware of the cards have been updated.

Hi There,

Did you ever get this resolved? I am having the same issue but with a DL380 G7 - ESX and ESXi can't see the 81B HBA.

Any pointers would be appreciated.
