msa 2000 - disk number vs rpm performance

We are planning to buy a new msa 2000 g3 for the vmware infrastructure. We have two options

- 6 x 600GB 15K rpm disks, 1 disk group , 1 vdisk raid 6

- 10 x 300GB 10K rpm disks, 1 disk group, 1 vdisk raid 6.

which one has the best performance?

IMHO more disks will perform better. Also a RAID 5 (RAID50 in this case) will likely perform better.
