    <description>The attachment is showing a failed disk. I would restart the P6000 command view service to ensure you see a current status.&lt;BR /&gt;If the status is still the same, this disk is dead.</description>

      <description>&lt;P&gt;hello,&lt;/P&gt;&lt;P&gt;&amp;nbsp;&lt;/P&gt;&lt;P&gt;I have eva4400 server msv 300.&lt;/P&gt;&lt;P&gt;its have 4 enclusure and each enclusure have 8 hard disk.&lt;/P&gt;&lt;P&gt;and i configured raid 5.&lt;/P&gt;&lt;P&gt;&amp;nbsp;&lt;/P&gt;&lt;P&gt;my question is that&amp;nbsp;&lt;/P&gt;&lt;P&gt;its 3 disk pair raid or 8 disk raid controller.&lt;/P&gt;&lt;P&gt;&amp;nbsp;my question is that&lt;/P&gt;&lt;P&gt;its configure all 8 disk pair.or three three disk pairs.&lt;/P&gt;&lt;P&gt;&amp;nbsp;&lt;/P&gt;&lt;P&gt;Thanks&lt;/P&gt;&lt;P&gt;aamir&lt;/P&gt;&lt;P&gt;&amp;nbsp;&lt;/P&gt;&lt;P&gt;&amp;nbsp;&lt;/P&gt;&lt;P&gt;&amp;nbsp;&lt;/P&gt;&lt;P&gt;&amp;nbsp;&lt;/P&gt;&lt;P&gt;&amp;nbsp;&lt;/P&gt;&lt;P&gt;&amp;nbsp;&lt;/P&gt;</description>

      <description>Not exactly sure about the question ... if all 32 disks are in the same diskgroup, then your vRAID5 vdisk is on all 32 disks.</description>

      <description>&lt;P&gt;thanks&lt;/P&gt;&lt;P&gt;&amp;nbsp;&lt;/P&gt;&lt;P&gt;&amp;nbsp;&lt;/P&gt;&lt;P&gt;storage have 36 disk &amp;nbsp;and &amp;nbsp;default disk group configure&amp;nbsp;&lt;/P&gt;&lt;P&gt;raid 5.&lt;/P&gt;&lt;P&gt;&amp;nbsp;&lt;/P&gt;&lt;P&gt;and i used total 90% of disk space.&lt;/P&gt;&lt;P&gt;suppose two or three disk failed in same time&amp;nbsp;&lt;/P&gt;&lt;P&gt;&amp;nbsp;&lt;/P&gt;&lt;P&gt;data will lost or not.&lt;/P&gt;&lt;P&gt;or&amp;nbsp;&lt;/P&gt;&lt;P&gt;two or three disk failed in same enclusure data will lost or not.&lt;/P&gt;&lt;P&gt;&amp;nbsp;&lt;/P&gt;&lt;P&gt;thanks&lt;/P&gt;&lt;P&gt;amir&lt;/P&gt;&lt;P&gt;&amp;nbsp;&lt;/P&gt;&lt;P&gt;&amp;nbsp;&lt;/P&gt;</description>

      <description>It depends.&lt;BR /&gt;&lt;BR /&gt;2 or more disk failures *at the same time* are very unlikely. If a disk fails, the array will rebuild and is *fully redundant* again, as long as there is space enough. So replace each failed disk asap. Under special circumstances more than 1 disk can fail at the same time without data loss, this depends on the internal data layout.&lt;BR /&gt;&lt;BR /&gt;&lt;BR /&gt;Imagine a 4 disk mirror - if you loose the both mirrors you will survive, if you loose a mirrored pair, you loose your data. This example will apply, more or less.</description>

      <description>&lt;P&gt;Hi,&lt;/P&gt;&lt;P&gt;&amp;nbsp;&lt;/P&gt;&lt;P&gt;Thanks for helpful advice&amp;nbsp;&lt;/P&gt;&lt;P&gt;&amp;nbsp;&lt;/P&gt;&lt;P&gt;Last week one hard disk failed condition so,&lt;/P&gt;&lt;P&gt;I was replaced the new hard disk but after two days San generated an error messages&lt;/P&gt;&lt;P&gt;not more&lt;/P&gt;&lt;P&gt;I also inserted to different bay but still same problem&amp;nbsp;&lt;/P&gt;&lt;P&gt;now amber led blinking continuously SAN front panel.&lt;/P&gt;&lt;P&gt;Please see the attached mail.&lt;/P&gt;&lt;P&gt;&amp;nbsp;&lt;/P&gt;&lt;P&gt;&lt;STRONG&gt;&amp;nbsp;&lt;/STRONG&gt;&lt;/P&gt;&lt;P&gt;&amp;nbsp;&lt;/P&gt;&lt;P&gt;&amp;nbsp;&lt;/P&gt;&lt;P&gt;Thanks&lt;/P&gt;&lt;P&gt;Aamir&lt;/P&gt;</description>
