Sir,

One of my single controller MSA P2000 G3 FC is beheaving abnormal, and its only Vdisk of 3TB is corrupted. It is not detected on the presented server. However, Backup team has taken the full backup of this LUN. I am not sure how can I add the backed up LUN to my MSA as a vdisk and present it to the server. Please help me through step by steps. I am really in a fix and dont know what to do.

Regards,

Abhishek

Hi,

well. Do you have 3TB free space on your MSA? If not, you have to either:

find some other array to create the 3TB LUN, send the files to that LUN

or

delete the old filesystem, create a new one, send the files from backup to that LUN
