      <title>CLI for MSA 500 G2</title>

      <description>Hi, &lt;BR /&gt;&lt;BR /&gt;I need to access the CLI for msa500G2 to check what raid level is configured on it, i used the same configuration of the hHyperTerminal connecton of the msa1000 but it did not work.&lt;BR /&gt;any body has an idea on how to access it ?&lt;BR /&gt;&lt;BR /&gt;Thanks in advance,&lt;BR /&gt;SJ</description>

      <description>Hi,&lt;BR /&gt;&lt;BR /&gt;U follow the below process:-&lt;BR /&gt;&lt;BR /&gt;1. U connect serial cable (Special Serial Cable one end DB9 pin and another end RJ45 port) laptop/PC MSA controller front I/O port&lt;BR /&gt;&lt;BR /&gt;2. Set up a Hyper Terminal emulator from the host computer using the following settings:&lt;BR /&gt;Bits per second: 19200&lt;BR /&gt;Data bits: 8 &lt;BR /&gt;Parity: none &lt;BR /&gt;Stop bits: 1&lt;BR /&gt;Flow control: none&lt;BR /&gt;&lt;BR /&gt;3. After opening the session, press Enter several times to display the CLI command prompt.&lt;BR /&gt;&lt;BR /&gt;4.  At the CLI prompt, enter the following command: show tech_support&lt;BR /&gt;&lt;BR /&gt;This command outputs U have find out all configuration info.&lt;BR /&gt;&lt;BR /&gt;Assign points, if Ur requirement is match.&lt;BR /&gt;&lt;BR /&gt;Thanks--Yaqub&lt;BR /&gt;HP Support!!!</description>
