From the message on the controller "Volume 1 Rebuild Failure" I would say that the five disks were in the RAID set and that is over the redundancy limit that you built in to the system. IE if it was RAID 5 with a spare then you can lose two drives (assuming the after the first failure there was enough time to rebuild to the hot spare). If you were using RAID 0+1 then there are more combinations.<BR />Have you tried to shut down and bring the array back online?
