<title>topic Sharing Tape Libraries in a Windows Cluster (MSCS) in MSA Storage</title>
    <link>https://community.hpe.com/t5/msa-storage/sharing-tape-libraries-in-a-windows-cluster-mscs/m-p/450847#M956</link>
<description>I'm using Legato networker power edition on my Windows Cluster (2 node Windows 2000). I have a library stack with 2 MSL5052's configured as one. These libraries are attached to an NSR 2402. I have created a map and presented this map to each node of the cluster. Each node sees the drives. However, the NSR is seen as a different target number on the Fibre Channel adapters. By using the inquire.exe command from Legato Networker, I can see the differences in the SCSI Path (see file). If I use LPUTILNT utility from Emulex, I can look at persistent bindings and can verify this. I can see that the NSR is Target 1 on one system, but Target 2 on the other system. All devices are presented to each node, so the overall number is the same, just not the target number. I am unable to change the binding order or delete the entries. Any suggestions how to resolve this? I need consistent SCSI paths for Legato to work in a failover mode.</description>
