Does the NFS service on NAS 1200s means A linux client would be able to access share folder on the NAS as if it's a unix server ?</description>

      <description>Yes, it does.  NFS is the file sharing service that UNIX servers use.&lt;BR /&gt;&lt;BR /&gt;You'll want to read the administration guide in detail regarding setting up NFS shares.  There are a number of very important configuration steps you need to follow to get user permissions translating properly, etc.</description>

      <description>Hi Paulius&lt;BR /&gt;&lt;BR /&gt;The process required for this sharing option does not use big block size allocation to memory so resources should not be a worry at all. Test pilot by enabling on a non production server first and you will see.&lt;BR /&gt;&lt;BR /&gt;Regards&lt;BR /&gt;Andre</description>
