topic HP 3-in-1 Reset Problem in StoreEasy Storage

Hi,
I was working configuring a disk on my 3-in-1 when I had a power cut at home.

Nowmy docking station won't respond to network, the ports still work, but it doesn't do any of the NAS stuff.
I've tried looking on the switch and it doesn't appear to even be coming up on the network.

I've tried to reset it using the apply power and hold the back up button (that's the one on the side, yes?), but it doesn't appear to make any difference, the unit just sits there with all the fans going.

Any ideas?

If the fan never slowes down after reset (unplug/plug again) nor the full reset (plug power holding backup button and then keep it more than 10s) your device might be dead - probably the best choice will be contacting HP support for repair.
However remember, that after full reset device might ask for IP address from DHCP server and it might be different than before the reset.
You could also try to check if NAS is not asking for firmware upload using nasload.exe utility, but if you are not familiar with firmware update, I would skip this part and go directly to HP support.
