Hello,

We have a couple of DL185 Storage Servers that I would like to poll the logical disk status from our management systems. On a standard DLxxx Windows 2003 server the MIB OID used (cpqDaLogDrvStatus) is installed via the Insight Management Agents. However on the DL185 Storage Server, these won't install on this OS.
Does anyone know how I get this MIB support on these storage servers?

Regards,
Dave.

The Insight Management Agent x64 Edition (current 8.22.0.0 and previous versions) will not install on this Windows Storage Server 2003.
When the install in attempted, a message box appears which states "This software is not supported for installation on this system".
So the question is - what Insight Management Agent software is supported on these DL185 Storage Services?

Dave.
Thanks JYP, unfortunately 8.30 has the same issue (the release notes do say that Windows Storage Server 2003 x64 is supported).

The install error log looks like this:

---------------------------------------------------------------------------
Setup Session Beginning 1/4/2010 - 12:19:38 PM
---------------------------------------------------------------------------
Command Line Parameters Given:
Name: HP Insight Management Agents for Windows Server 2003/2008 x64 Editions
New Version: 8.30.0.0

Determining component installation state...
- Is operating system supported... Yes
- Is necessary disk space available... Yes
- Is hardware present... Yes
- Is component already installed... No
- Is component marked for removal... No
- Installed component version status... Older
- Checking dependency list... Done.

The software is not supported for installation on this system.

The installation program couldn't find the appropriate system management controller driver which is required but is not currently installed. Please install the appropriate system management controller driver and then rerun the setup program.

Installation will not continue.

I wonder what system management controller driver it is looking for?

Dave.
