I'm trying to restore the OS into a NAS1200s.
The boot process , from the usb device, stops with the folowing error. "cannot load usb storage device"

Pressing esc the screen with option Q to continue appears. I pressed the Q and the drives have been reinitialized . Unfortunately then the process cannot load the new OS , and now the NAS is unbootable

This is very urgent .
Any help is greatly appreciated
Thanks

Stefano Colombo
I'm attaching the Release Notes and Quick Restore Instructions for 1200s. First thing to suggest, check your external attached USB DVD model. From the 1200s Quick Spec (also attached), only the HP dvd300e is supported. If you are okay here, then review the Release Notes (see last page) and the Quick Restore instructions. Re-attempt the restore process. Two tips: 1) be patient, it takes a while, 2) be present to remove the Quick Restore Disc from the DVD drive when the install is 100% and the dvd drive opens the tray. Hope this helps!
