topic NAS 2000s not detecting keyboard using KVM switch in StoreEasy Storage

I have a new NAS 2000s that I hooked up to our KVM switch. For some reason, the keyboard does not work with it. I get no errors when it boots up. I changed cables with a server that is working, and it still didn't work. Does anyone know anything about this? Is my only choice to use another keyboard plugged directly into the NAS device? The KVM switch is a Raritan Master Console.
