Hi Bill,

I found the reason. The Firmware of the P800 SATA Array Controller was to new (Version 5.2). After a downgrade to Version 4.12 everything worked fine.

If you use a Smart Array P800 SATA Controller, you can find the Firmware here:
http://h20000.www2.hp.com/bizsupport/TechSupport/SoftwareDescription.jsp?lang=en&cc=us&prodTypeId=12169&prodSeriesId=3239439&prodNameId=3355721&swEnvOID=1114&swLang=8&mode=2&taskId=135&swItem=MTX-3c6ed247351d4e2e9f1e6f5526

Hi,

I got some question regarding storage allocation with the AiO.
I got here a brand new AiO 1200 with 6TB SATA disks. The installation has run, I applied some Microsoft Patches and put the system into our Domain. I have not configured anything using the ACU.
Now I wanted to allocate some Storage for a "user defined application" with the AiO Storage Manager. At "Storage Allocation" the wizard tells me "Unable to find/create storage that meets the given requirements". What did I miss?

Thanks in andvance for any answers.
Sven
