Can be the Windows OS running in my StoreEasy 1470 be updated with the latest packages available from Microsoft or this OS is a customized OS?

About the Service Pack also is a Customized service pack?

There is no many differences in the binaries or windows 2022 retails vs OEM and the key difference between windows are below

Licensing:

OEM (Original Equipment Manufacturer): Pre-installed on the server hardware (e.g., HPE StoreEasy or ProLiant). The license is tied to the specific hardware and cannot be transferred to another server.
Retail: A standalone license that is purchased separately and can be transferred between devices (within the terms of the agreement).

Cost:

OEM: Cheaper because it's meant for specific hardware with limited support and no software assurance.
Retail: More expensive as it includes additional licensing flexibility and sometimes bundled features like client access licenses (CALs).

Support:

OEM: Support is provided by the hardware vendor (e.g., HPE), not Microsoft.
Retail: Direct support from Microsoft is available.

Features:

Both OEM and Retail versions have the same core binaries and functionality. However, retail versions may include licensing for additional features or optional add-ons.
