Hi Dave,

If the HD is damaged there is only 1 option. Buy a new HDD (the image comes preinstalled).

If you have a tape backup then you can restore thatone. If you don't then all depends on if it was the primary or secondary HDD that got busted.

The company that these units or better to say the Software was OEM:ed from is/was called Previo. And if there would be an image available then nobody would have bought the Autobackup. The software is still available from www.Previo.com (bought by Altiris) at a high price... I would then however instruct you to install that software on another unit then the Autobackup (then you can use all features).

There are some company's still selling the HDD as new or refurbished. Let me get back to you with some more information (I know I have it somewhere)...

Until then, regards

SCOOTER

Dave,

You need to get a hold of part C7444-67215 there are 2 HDD's in the unit. Worse case you need 2.

You can order them through HP direct:
http://h20141.www2.hp.com/hpparts/partsdirectory/buy.htm

I found them also on EET:
http://www.eet.dk/EETShop/Frontpage.aspx

Regards,

SCOOTER
