topic Data Protector Express - on a Multihomed server in Automated Backup
Q. Can the Data Protector Express domain be hosted on an AiO1200 while using both interfaces for backup?

Scenario. We have an AiO1200r running DPX 4.0sp1 build 43064 (upgraded from 3.5sp2 that came with the AiO using the ASM update 3.8).

NIC1 is attached to a private high speed network for large capacity servers and we need to be able to back them up.

NIC2 is attached to a more public lower speed network with average capacity servers and we need to be able to back them up.

The dpwinsdr.exe daemon appears to be listening on the Windows interface assigned to NIC1, but is not listening to the Windows interface assigned to NIC2. Each interface has a different IP address. Only one interface is configured with a default gateway, the other interface is configured with static routes to specific servers.

Q. Is it possible to configure the dpwinsdr.exe daemon to listen for traffic on both interfaces?
