I found it expedient to copy the installed AiO key before performing a complete "reinstall" of the DPX4sp1 provided by the update in the C:\ drive folder.

Then removing the key installed by the update and restoring the key provided with the server.

Had to learn through trial and error, the update doesn't seem to work as intended.
After upgrading from DPX 3.5sp2 to 4.0sp1 using the ASM upgrade on an AiO1200r.

Most of the tools report the correct version.

The systray program continues to report "Data Protector Express Version 3.50sp2(build 34497)" in the "About" menu option.

I have read on this forum that sometimes agents are not upgraded and a separate procedure must be followed to push the agent upgrades out from the server.

Q. Should this agent upgrade be performed on the backup domain server itself?

Q. Is this normal or intended behavior for the DPX upgrade process?

Q. Is there a manual procedure for copying a file from one location to another to upgrade the systray component?
