Maybe the drive is bad.</description>

      <description>&lt;P&gt;Hello everybody,&lt;/P&gt;&lt;P&gt;&amp;nbsp;&lt;/P&gt;&lt;P&gt;I have a problem with a customer.&lt;/P&gt;&lt;P&gt;&amp;nbsp;&lt;/P&gt;&lt;P&gt;It concerns the backup of his server.&lt;/P&gt;&lt;P&gt;&amp;nbsp;&lt;/P&gt;&lt;P&gt;His server is a Windows Server 2003 Standard Edition Service Pack 1.&lt;/P&gt;&lt;P&gt;&amp;nbsp;&lt;/P&gt;&lt;P&gt;The core is an Intel Xeon CPU E3120 of 3,16 Ghz and the RAM is 2 Go.&lt;/P&gt;&lt;P&gt;&amp;nbsp;&lt;/P&gt;&lt;P&gt;At every backup, there is an error in Data Protector Express version 4.00-sp1 : "Error 4073: TapeAlert".&lt;/P&gt;&lt;P&gt;&amp;nbsp;&lt;/P&gt;&lt;P&gt;What is the solution of this problem ?&lt;/P&gt;&lt;P&gt;&amp;nbsp;&lt;/P&gt;&lt;P&gt;Thanks in advance for your help.&lt;/P&gt;&lt;P&gt;&amp;nbsp;&lt;/P&gt;&lt;P&gt;greenkev&lt;/P&gt;&lt;P&gt;&amp;nbsp;&lt;/P&gt;</description>

      <description>Hi,&lt;BR /&gt;This error means "The tape drive is having problems writing data. No data has been lost, but there has been a reduction in the capacity of the tape" and this is a hardware issue.</description>
