Hi, when I asked this question of HP support I was told that there is no difference in the docking stations. The size tag refers to the size of the cartridge bundled with the drive.

Are there any capacity restrictions on the RDX docking station which would not allow me to use a 1.0TB cartridge to full capacity in a single backup? For instance, can I use my current 1TB cartridges in a RDX160 to backup over 600GB of data each night?

RDX160 vs.. RDX1000? Why does HP package their docking stations with specific size cartridges while others sell them separately?
