With the Ultrium Library you mentioned and Windows 2000, the only thing you should need is the latest LTO driver from HP to install Omniback 4.1. Install the latest tape driver < http://h20000.www2.hp.com/bizsupport/TechSupport/DriverDownload.jsp?prodNum=C7421A&prodName=hp+surestore+ultrium+215+external+drive&locale=en_US&taskId=8418&taskName=download+drivers+%26+software&prodTypeId=12169&prodSeriesId=42915&prodSeriesName=hp+surestore+ultrium+215+external+drive >, then Windows 2000 RSM should see the drives. Then install OB 4.1, and everything should work just fine.
Can anybody help me regarding Autoloader 1/9 ultrium (C7748AA) drivers for windows 2000 server. In a hp forum somebody say that drivers are not available, and the problem was resolved by reinstalling Veritas BackUp exec (wich has a "installing drivers" section). I wish to install Omniback II 4.1. This version can help me like Veritas software ?
Tank you for your advice. But now i have another problem. Under device manager there is no "medium changers", so i have to make manual load of the cartrige to be able to backup anything. For medium changers are separate drivers. I did not find anything about medium changers. What is the problem. The drivers was not installed properly?
