Hi,
AVA 1515 is a 5 Mb/s SE scsi controller, sould work, the only trouble would be to find the right cable in order to connect the Autoloader because this controller have a 50 pin "old style" connector
bye
According to the Adaptec website this card has a DB25 type connector. I do not recommend you use this card for your DDS-3 because:

1. I doubt whether a correct DB25 - 50pin LD bail will be available.
2. Adaptec state that the card is not fully supported on Windows NT 4.0.
3. It may not support multiple LUNs and some backup software uses LUN1 to communicate with the HP Autoloader and LUN0 to the tape drive (inside the autoloader).

I think its time to jumk it and invest in a decent SCSI card. You can probably still obtain AHA2840W which will have the correct connector.
