Dan,

Your almost there...

When you boot on a clean install, Windows should give you an opportunity to install a specific driver (usually by pressing the F6 key). You will need to insert a floppy disk drive with this driver. You may need to get this driver from HP's website and you may need to create the disk drive from the download.

This driver should recognize the NetRAID controller and see the logical disk.

Let me know how it goes...

DR

I have an old Netserver E 60 I'm trying to load NT 4.0 Server on. I downloaded a NetRAID driver from HP (two in fact,drv_nt_nr_all_409.exe and drv_nt_nr_all_405.exe) and tried them both on install, and NT still says no disks found.
The netRAID utility shows both drives and the one logical disk.
Any ideas what is going wrong?
Thank you.

That's basically what I'm doing, you press "s" to specify a device, put in the disk with the HP drivers, it comes up with the NetRaid controller, I know it sees it because if you try to use another one, it says- you do not have this installed, but then it says it can't find any disk drives.
