Netserver LPR Boot Errors

When I boot this server I get the following error

0080-51 : Netserver Management ControllersFailure

0090-64 : DIMM management failure

I tried to update the bios but it fails. Heard a patch exists for this but cannot find it.

Bill, reply with an email address that accepts exe files, or leave instructions if it doesn't, and I will email you the fix.

to resolve this issue you need 2 things.

1) Dos bootable diskette
2) newest revision of the BIOS for the Netserver LPr that is available on the HP website. (rev 4.06.35 PR)

boot to DOS diskette.
at command prompt switch to BIOS diskette (previously created) and run following commands;

flashmmc lprra_us.bin

wait for command prompt to appear and then run the following;

sdredit -w -f list_lpr.sdr

again wait for command prompt to reappear and reboot to the BIOS diskette.

re run BIOS update.

reboot.

this should take care of the issue.

Same problem as the others, but with a twist.

I run the flashmmc but the prompt never comes back.

OK. I have tried everything including the dip switches. When I try and update the bios I get the 'sdredit.exe failed'.

I would greatly appreciate a fix if anyone has some special file please send this to me.
