topic Trouble with smart array 431 in ProLiant Servers - Netservers

Greetings,

I am running a Proliant ML350 with a smart array 431 controller RAID 5 and Windows NT4 SP6.

I am running out of disk space and recently added a drive to my array configuration. It has finished expanding the array. I now want to extend the logical drive. It will not let me and gives me error 15409 with a message of "Logical drives cannot be extended on this controller because the controller does not support logical drive extension"

How can I extend my drive without losing data?

Thanks

yo cannot do this because NT 4 does not support dynamic disk, you need to create a new array with new disks
