topic Version Control Agent? in ProLiant Servers - Netservers

I'm new to Proliants. I'm installing some agents on some DL360s running Linux. Version Control Agents asks me for "Repository", "Login", and "Password". I have no idea what to tell it, and I can't find any documentation for VCA.

Hi,

there is a link for Manuals for the Version Control software here:
http://h18004.www1.hp.com/products/servers/management/agents/documentation.html

The agents are looking for the Version control Repository Manager (VCRM), which you could install on a server. The VCRM has a folder where you can copy the support pack (or get it download the latest one). The agents on each server then compare what is installed locally with what the repository has, and will turn yellow if it's not up to date.

Regards,
Stephen
