    <description>Jerry,&lt;BR /&gt;&lt;BR /&gt;You should be okay as this is the processor upgrade listed in the QuickSpecs document for the DL380 G4.  I don't know why they would be different steppings though.  Did you get from the documentation or from your HP rep?&lt;BR /&gt;&lt;BR /&gt;Scott</description>

      <title>CPU Stepping</title>

      <description>We recently orderd from HP a DL380G4 (378736-001) with a 3.2Ghz 2MB processor and an addon processor 3.2Ghz 2mb (378749-B21). The processor in the system is step 3 and the addon is step 10. Would HP consider this normal?</description>
