Cannot install Windows Server 2003 R2 on raid 1 array on DL320 with Raid

Hello folks. I'll be grateful for some suggestions to me solve this problem I'm having with the DL320 G4

System Spec:
DL320
HDD config: 2x Seagate 160GB (Model ST3160211AS) in Raid 1 using Embedded storage controller. Write cache is disabled.

I created the raid array and it is recognised during POST as a raid 1 array and both drives are listed as healthy. When I try to install Server 2003 R2 (press F6 load the Adaptec drivers in the process) I get an the error message stating that setup has found no hard disks.
I've been working on this for 3 days now and no luck. Where am I going wrong

Hi Wendel:

- some how the Driver that you are using with F6 is not taking or wrong driver.
- make sure you press F6 early or check firmware and drivers.

- Make sure you have the current firmware for the server: version 2006.06.30 (8 Aug 06)
- Use the HP Driver for that controller; version 1.0.414.0-3842

Hi Tarek,

Thank you very much. I still have to investigate what I was doing wrong. Maybe it has to do with me making some modified installation CD's (I tried integrating the Adaptec drivers in one and used Bashrat driverpacks, http://www.driverpacks.net/ in another)while attempting to solve the problem which now seems to be of my own making :). I used those CD's for all but the first of my attempts at installation.
I did also update the firmwares and still had the problem. This morning I just used the original HP Server 2003 CD and it works!
