NetServer LT6000r - Less memory counts

Yo!

I have 512MBx8 memory module in this server. However, the bios shows only 3782MB when it counts. Although BIOS summury says the four banks filled with 1MB ram and so the navigator reports 4096MB. But the customer is not convinced since Redhat only reports what the bios counts. I already swapped the modules from bank to bank but no avail. Anybody run into this problem? Apreaciate your help.
Additional Info:

I recently replaced one of the memory module with the same part no. It was located in the last bank of the memory board. The memory module that I removed was causing the server dead -- no display at all!

When only the 1st, 2nd, 3rd bank filled with memory modules then it counts correctly, say 1024, 2048MB, or 3072MB.

I suspect maybe the memory board's causing this problem? However, I need to make sure.

Thanks again
Thanks Theo!

I forgot to mention that I already update the firmware of the system and embedded controller.

Worth to mention also that before I upgrade the firmware, it was only counting up to 3072MB although the system summary and hardware inventory says 4096MB was detected.

I disable the Netraid controller and set the controller to SCSI only and the memory counts increas and it became 3800MB something. But the customer was insisting that it was counting up to 4096MB before. The server is used for SQL and the customer was very concern about the 300MB.

Maybe I need to proceed of ordering the Memory Board?
