NetServer E55 Gold!? Anyone!?

As this "thing" ever existed!? ...Well... I've got one right here and I don't have a clue how to upgrade it, can anyone help me at least telling were I can find any technical information about this model?
I wanna put two PIII450/512/100/2.0V, is it possible?
How about IDE hard drives? Does it support or is like other models refered in this discussion group that only supports a maximum of 8.9Gb? Can I overcome it, if possible?

Thanks in advance
I don't know about the "Gold" part, but E55 was a well-known low-end server. It's very close to a desktop system.

Try looking here:

http://h20000.www2.hp.com/bizsupport/TechSupport/Home.jsp?locale=en_US&prodTypeId=15351&prodSeriesId=45936&prodSeriesName=hp+netserver+e+55

for information, or go to http://netserver.hp.com , and navigate down the list of tower servers for retired products.

The page should say what speed processor is supported. Basically, if the BIOS needs to recognize the processor and have the proper microcode to load for it.

IDE hard drives were never supported on most Netservers, including this model. However, it should work - the board and BIOS are very close to a regular PC, anyway. On the 8.9 GB issue, I have no idea. The limit certainly does not exist if you use a SCSI drive, which is really the way this server was meant to operate.
